Lindsey K Rietzsch (pronounced "reach") was born and raised in Sandy, Utah. With a passion for learning and a great desire to achieve her goals, Lindsey received a Bachelor of Integrated Studies degree from Weber State University in 2003. Her degree emphases are in Communication, Family Studies and Social Work.
As a former employment counselor for the state of Utah, Lindsey has worked as a certified instructor for the Department of Workforce Services, teaching assertive communication and job retention skills. Lindsey has also designed curriculum for and instructed self management and relationship courses. Her “How to Date Your Spouse” class was the inspiration behind How to Date Your Spouse the book.
In the late summer of 1999 Lindsey met her husband Manuel who was also studying at Weber State University. They were happily married on December 1st 2000. Manuel who is a German citizen is also a former semi-professional soccer player from Hof, Germany. The story of how they officially met and the events leading up to their marriage are so unbelievable that Lindsey wrote a biography about it. Eventually she'd like to publish it. They have one beautiful son together Gabe, and a daughter on the way. Together they are both entrepreneurs with big dreams and ideas.
Lindsey enjoys writing and is currently working on a couple of books both fiction and non-fiction. Though she enjoys writing fiction she prefers to read autobiographies and non-fiction. Lindsey firmly believes that the impossible can be possible!
